The Lord helps those who help themselves
That is what the man truly thought was right
However this was faith into which he didn’t truly delve
For he was blessed and should therefore be able to see others plight
And have the desire to pass his blessings around magnanimously
God blessed him by lighting in his heart an eternal flame
And expects of him to share the same
For a lamp hidden under a bushel is of no worth
The purpose of God given grace is that it be shared throughout the earth
When you are blessed with Gods loving grace
His mercy shows in your behavior and shines on your face
These are indeed the fruits of the Holy Spirit
You live the word as well as preach it and hear it
So my brother you will know if you have truly accepted Gods salvation
For it shows in your lifestyle, habits and daily traditions
