And what are they? These we call values
They are the standards that support what you do
They are sometimes called morals or scruples or codes
And if you be a traveler they may be called rules of the road
There is one thing I have learned in these years I’ve been on earth
If you recognize these values then you understand their worth
They can make the complicated decision much easier to make
The man who knows what he believes finds even difficulties easier to take
So if you learn nothing else as you grow and mature on this planet Earth
Know what it is you believe in and know of it’s worth
