I sometimes wonder that you do not get tired of my preaching, because I do nothing but hammer away on this one nail. With me it is, year after year, "None but Jesus!" Oh, you great saints, if you have outgrown the need of a sinner's trust in the Lord Jesus, you have outgrown your sins, but you have also outgrown your grace, and your saintship has ruined you! *Jesus once said if we say we sin not we lie* *The worse part of this lie is the fact our sins we deny* *And since we do not confess these to be our sins* *This opens a door for Satan to enter in* *And our lives become jumbled and chaotic* *Have we never failed to comfort the sick?* *Or give food to someone who is hungry?* *Have we never let anger rule our thoughts* *Or criticized a neighbor or find fault?* *The glory of God is that these things he sees* *But if we admit our failures he will forgive these* *So throw yourself before the Lord with humble heart* *For Jesus walks with you with grace to impart* *He asks only that you will forgive your brothers* *And he too will forgive you as you forgive others.* *Praise God for his wondrous love*

This is one of the best poems, I have read on Authorsden.

Thank you, Lew Duffey. Loving words from a beauteous soul..., God is proud and I am honored to meet you.

I lost faith in Authorsden, as some of the angry, hurtful 'poetry' made me want to run far away from this site but it looks like I may have been reading the wrong authors (for me).

God's love and grace is amazing..., so are you.

I try to never sin, my biggest culprit is inner anger. But praise GOD he has not given up on me.
