That which others see in the way you live
Depends greatly upon the causes to which you give
It reflects not necessarily upon what it is you say
But upon what you would give your life for one day
Sometimes it is good to stand back and reflect
Upon the causes you champion and friends you select
It is especially good to ponder how your friends see you
Do they admire or disapprove of the things you do
It is always good to be yourself you see
But ask yourself if you are being all you can be
Accepting Jesus as your champion is a good step one
His friendship goes on when Earthly friends are gone
One act of kindness given by you here and now
Will accumulate treasure for you in Heaven somehow
Live your life in honesty and be modest and true
For Jesus is watching and recording what you do
You may not reap rewards in the present life you live
But you will one day receive much more that what it is that you give
Live your life by giving your heart to lord
And let yourself be guided by his holy word
