I was awakened by my old friend today
Shining from the east it coaxed the clouds away
There were no signs left of those clouds of grey
Because once more the sun has come out to play
It seems as if it is saying, “Good morning Lew”
It is my pleasure to shine on you
I love to brighten this sky of blue
I am happy to share by bright light with you
My light becomes more brilliant reflecting off the snow
A dazzling light which reflects my warm glow
I never really left you alone you know
Those clouds of grey could not make me go
They simply congregated to block my light
And they also hid the moon and stars at night
But once again I shine my rays dazzling and bright
I will gladly welcome the moon once more tonight
Keep in mind our true relation
The sun, moon stars and clouds are a part of Gods’ creation
Know this is true and consider it as revelation
And enjoy each one of us with fascination
