The prayer is up to us; the answer is up to God.

*My Mamma used to say* *“Be careful what you pray for; because you just might get it!”* *Meaning, “Before you ask for something be certain that you need it* *Too often we think we want this or that but maybe we do not* *There are times when Gods answer is,” No for you may think you need this something but you do not* *Our Lord is not as one-dimensional as a genie in a lamp, you see* *You rub the lamp and make a wish and it simply comes to be* *Your prayers should include requests but it is a two way conversation* *We should spend more time asking questions to improve this glorious relation* *Remember what Jesus prayed to God when he was left alone* *“Father, if it be possible let this cup pass, yet not my will but thine be done”*
