Enjoy the beauty God gave to us!

Here I lie under a big oak tree,
a thousand bud eyes look down on me.

A clump of buttercups lick my brow,
a curious raccoon stands up proud.

Lush green grass tickles my toes,
a snoopy ant seeks out my nose.

A busy tail squirrel climbs a tree,
a fawn plays beneath showing its glee.

A gurgling stream welcomes me,
to thread and search its water for free.

The sun offers just enough heat,
causing my eyes to close in sleep.

A mockingbird's determined to wake me up,
it's singing sounds like a noisy fire truck.

Old Mister Jones is plowing his field,
a moisten earth makes it a good day to till.

I lie here enjoying all that I see,
knowing the Great I Am is here by me.
