Thankful

This precious life, a mystery, what purpose does it serve? For life itself is meaningless, it’s living that’s superb!

I’m thankful for the simple things like truth, care and mirth. The open heart of others is what gives life it’s worth.

I’m thankful for the minds I’ve met and the thoughts that we have shared. The nourishment gleaned from them is a gift beyond compare.

I’m thankful for my failures, trials and my triumphs for each of them educates, broadening my horizons.

I’m thankful for the written word and the beauty it can hold for with them we preserve mindscapes more precious than pure gold.

I am thankful for my talents and the ability to share for it’s through our mundane labors that we demonstrate we care.

I’m thankful for this world of ours, everyone and everything for without this stage to live life upon I would have nothing…
