Thanks, Trask, for this power packed, wise compilation! So many facts stated that I must save this offering and re-read it many times. I especially agree with your opinion of the drug companies. What legal "pushers" they are! Here in America, it seems that we don't try to cure patients, we simply try to "manage" their diseases instead, resulting in more profit for the "Powers that be!" Three years ago, I read that we were #2 in the world, at diagnosing diseases, however, we were only #7 in the world at "curing" these diseases! Strange, isn't it? Good write!

This is why I will not take medication and learnt how to breathe instead. But there is always temptations isn't there? Great write with a lot of thought provoking ideas expressed on many issues that we deal with everyday.

Any sort of dependency must be hell - I'm partial to an evening glass or two of wine, myself, and am in some ways "dependent" on that unwinding factor! But for those whose addictions cost their whole lives and souls, it must be torment. Funny thing is, I once heard a radio interview about what I thought was someone describing what it is like to be filled with God's Holy Spirit (based on my own experience!) - and it turned out to be a description of being high on Crack. An amazing example of the "feel-good" factor that God offers us for FREE - without any dependency or unpleasant side-effects. Don't mean to make light of your powerful write, but this little scenario just popped into my head as I was reading. Right on point as ever, TRASK. Bless you. Kate xx

Never could myself understand how one can become hooked (hooked as in cannot be without) on drugs of any sort...but then again I've only walked in my shoes.

....have to agree at the outraged of the lifestyle and $$$$$ comsumed by those who supply such misery.....
