I remember when I lived in California. I couldn't find a job because I couldn't speak Mexican. I never could understand that.. *sigh*

As long as no one stands up and shouts this from the rooftops, no one will listen. You speak passionately and clearly your feelings--I agree with you on many aspects of your writings. We need to do something about illegal immigration, we're being over-run...it's no longer a case of immigration, it's an invasion! When I went to Mexico, they made no concessions for me not speaking much Spanish; why do we cater to them here? And it's not just Spanish speakers. I don't care where you're from--if you want to live in MY country, which is primarily an English speaking Nation, first, DO IT LEGALLY AND LEARN THE LANGUAGE!!!!!!!!!
