And as usual, the poor, the children, suffered...and are still suffering, now with the gas prices rising faster than the winds in a Cat. 5 ... what I've seen has made me sick. Especially the looters, in New Orleans and in government, who are raping the survivors and taking advantage of the rest of us--for shame.

Another spot on, truthful write--keep shouting, I'm listening!!

Trask, as usual, you�ve pulled together some fascinating facts. It�s such a shame more so, I believe it is a �crime� against humanity that our federal government, even after �knowing,� because they used �a computer simulated storm,� that the entire �Gulf Coast region� would get pummeled by a hurricane equal to, if not greater than, Katrina. Yet they still scaled back on the necessary funding needed to help that area survive any category 3, 4 or 5 hurricane. It reminds me of a saying I�ve always used, �penny wise and dollar foolish.� So, instead of releasing the necessary funding to help beef up those manmade levees to withstand anything stronger than a category 3 hurricane, we now, meaning the tax payers of this country, will spend, I�d beat every dollar I have that this horrific disaster will exceed 120 billion dollars, not to mention the human toll and suffering this foreseen scenario has caused. I am sick to my stomach by the political B.S. that continues to come out of Washington, D.C. They are telling us not to point any fingers, and just suck it up. Well, I, for one, am pointing my finger directly at all the politicians and/or lawmakers who have allowed this to terrible disaster to happen. Thanks for sharing. Take care and be well.
