it takes me a while to really understand what you write,which is good for the intellect and so i must say that you cover subjects many do not agree with,but,that is what makes you and your writing unique. very good!!

Many people will read and will never leave a comment but does that mean anything? If you write something that is offensive to someone they have the option of not reading and it's their loss not yours Trask.. I have written poems and had 200 read and only 3-4 comment..Was it boring or maybe they didnt like the content..whatever.. I write first for myself and I know you sure as hell do!! Keep writing..esp when you educate about child molesters and those that are a danger to society....Robin

Dearest Brother T: You know what I like about you. . . your writing makes me sit still and think. What I see is that you have feelings, you are a sensitive writer whose pen in razor sharp, and you tackle a subject like Special Forces tackles a covert assignment to reveal things that no one else may be able to see. Vernacular has nothing to do with being genuine. And as far as the word "review" goes, I've read crazier things in newspapers by people who are paid to be a puppet. Thanks so much for your kind words, your straight rootin' tootin' shootin' the way you see it, and for the ability to type and not take anything back. I see strength in you. Thank you for sharing your "no-nonsence" genius with all of us.

Hypocrisy always afflicts many..but don't fret the 'small stuff'...full of cliches I am this morning...it's Monday.

Truly, though, please do your thing and never give it a thought who might read or misread it. On the other hand, it's always good to vent. Well done.

I sort of had to smile at the
'You F--ken CRY BABIES.... ' part....that's funny Trask....sometimes (once or twice for me)being around here is enough to make one cry though isn't it?Ahh but what's the use of cryin' hey?No use at all...if anyone don't appreciate your work Trask it is their loss,you are an origianl thinker and writer and that's why I stop by to read you,you are different and different is always good.

To me, AuthorsDen is a venue for sharing thoughts through poetry, stories, articles etc. I've never considered myself an "expert" or a "poet." But I have made some friends here and there are some whose creations I can relate to and enjoy reading. I do welcome criticism though I am reluctant to criticize since "poetry" is so subjective. You make some good points here, TRASK and I appreciate your honesty. Take care. Love and peace.

THET ARE INTELLIGENT ENOUGH TO READ IT_

I have seen few real reviews on AD. Once I spent a great deal of time doing an intensive line edit of someone's work and because that person threatened to sue me, AD said I was not allowed to review him any more. My critique was accurate, my advice (complete with links to sites where this writer could study punctuation, spelling, grammar) valuable. AD doesn't want real reviews or critiques. It's nothing but a popularity contest, and to be honest, some of the best writers don't belong to the 'clique' and the writers who need the most work are the most popular. These 'review' boxes are meaningless for the most part, as they are often nothing more than meeting rooms for fan clubs.

This is a bit harsh. I agree that there are a lot of pats on the back that are solely for reprocity, but this is almost to the point of being uncalled for. Not sure if you've got a cucklebur under your saddle or what, but maybe you should lighten up. Admittedly, I haven't read any of yours, but I will....have to form my own opinion.
