Ah, so you have read George Orwell's books? He may have not been on the money, but he was on the right track, don't you think? As for Washington, it runs itself, our Presidents are just figure heads like the Queen of England and with probably less power too.

Insightful and something to thing about Trask, I really don't think either candidate can change anything in DC, if they even start being successful, there will probably be an accidental plane crash or something, big business controls this country

The problem with Orwell's prophecy was that it depicted a logical utopia with a clearly defined structure and a choreography of partnered dominating forces. Orwell had not the means, nor the imagination, to conceptualize the utter individuation of American corruption, where one man can equate POW with "hero" and partner with a "dancing baby" as he jokes across the stage to cheering sheep. Idiots ruling idiots who are paying for being ruled. And we must ask - do any of the above really matter :-)
