I agree with Sandie, my friend.
The goverment should solve their own
countries problems first! There are too
many starving children in the world...to
many homeless roaming the streets. They
could have put that $180 million dollars
they spent on Rover to take pictures of Mars
toward the hungry people of this world.

Since the beginning of time exploration has been a fascination of man, albeit some things explored have meant certain senseless prerequisited doom BUT then again who says anything man ever does really has a purpose a sense! We are and always have been creatures born of our own habits, sadly our primordial order seems to be one of very few that chooses to live and learn from it's past mistakes. Henceforth we create our own doom, although sad and utterly depressing as it may be perhaps out of our failure the next generation in the lineage of man shall be perfected!

Woops sorry Trask seems I went way off here on my own philosophical little tangent BUT your writes seem to do that, and food for much deep thought IS very good!

I always think that the government should tend to the immediately problems that are surrounding them and within their own countries first. I agree, going up to space or Mars seems illogical when there's problems to be solved on earth.

We never knew what had happened to the project of "Moon". Seems like some years ago we've sent men to the moon, only came back and the project was forgotten.

If the Mars cannot be inhibited by humans, then who cares about it. We know that the human needs air to survive, and unless we are born from Mars, we cannot live there.

In my opinion, the project seems pointless and a waste of money...

but that's just my 2 cents worth of opinion.
