Autism is a sorrowful mystery of our time. So many, many far away children!

Planet Payton lost in space she hangs out at Elmo's place with a trance look on her face. Planet Payton lost in space, she's a child of wilding grace, slips o'er the fence and we must chase. Planet Payton wired awry, her parents pray, her sisters sigh, wishing she'd-- just this once-- reply. ��

I read this a few times and wasn't sure if I were right or not but it almost feels like you are speaking of autistic children, if you are not forgive me but having a little autistic girl for a friend this describes her so well.
