Hope is that intangible everything The reason to live and go on Through all the hard times Past all the pain To grow more fully into ourselves Reaching out for our dreams It is the spring that sustains us Through life and past death Flowing eternally our strength The backbone of the soul Holding us upright and unwavering Hope is the blood that courses through the spirit And makes us brave enough to seek to be whole C. I enjoyed this poem and love the way you wrapped it all up so neatly at the end. Sorry I can't afford to donate to keep you here. I can barely afford my own gold membership. Platinum is out of the question. My website is free and gets many hits. A lot of the Authors Den also post there. You might want to check it out. I hope that invitation is not considered "commercial" because my only intent and purpose is to gain exposure for poets.

Intuitive, especially, "that intangible everything...the spring that sustains us." Nice write.
