In haste I write this poem In haste--because, well, don't we do everything in haste these days? Our lives are so full of things to do that we must cram them in If we slow to smell the flowers, we fall behind We fail And so now I must conclude my poem, for there are other things to do I know you understand

I sure do. Retired four months ago, and now I'm busier than when I was working. It is essential to stop and smell the roses. Every once in a while, I take the opportunity to relish the time I've got without rushing.

Apropos concept for today when everything is Internet fast.
