The rose you throw down by the wayside
may have brightened somebody’s sad day.
Be careful when counting your blessings …
Don’t throw any roses away.
The smile you don’t give to a neighbor
may have been his one smile of the day.
Each deed sows a seed in Life’s garden …
Don’t throw any roses away.
The kindness you show to a stranger,
taking time from your own busy day,
plants a seed for a rose in your garden …
Don’t throw any roses away.
Take time to thank God for His kindness,
and for showing, in His own, sweet way,
that He loves you. Why else would He give you
such blessings – one great big bouquet!
I'd pick it up and get the thorn...
