Summer, Linger On Summer,linger on in woods so green and deep sunrise glisten on the dew these memories I keep Summer, linger on come knock upon my door shine the morning sunbeams across the forest floor Summer, linger on and I'll come out to play to run the fields with butterfilies into the yellow day Summer, linger on when insects sing their tune and warm the road I walk upon just like you did in June
