Like the hundred foot waves
of the perfect storm,
moods rise and fall.
Elation at the peak
of love and joy,
despair in the pit
of self loathing.
Bright light of hope
during the ascent.
Dimming to darkness
while descending.
Hold my soul gently
in your warm embrace.
Touch me with the searing heat
of your passion's grace.
Help me calm the angry sea.
That resides so deeply in me.
I have enjoyed the reading of "Self Esteem" for its art and romantic-spiritual contents.
In admiration,
