wonderful people who
were concerned about me.
And took the time
to send me a personal
email...
I thank you so much.
A few days ago i was
visiting my best friend.
We sat in her yard,
It was a very hot day
Not realizing how long
that we sat in the sun.
We were sitting there
laughing, and having
a real good time....
When suddenly i became
violently ill...
My breathing stopped,
as well as my heart...
I had no pulse at all.
My friend Dottie's
brother in law was
there, and began to
work on me performing
CPR.
Until the paramedics arrived.
I was unconscious
for quite awhile...
I was not responding
to anything at all.
They worked on me for
almost thirty minutes
in the ambulance,
while still in her
driveway...
I finally came out
of it at the hospital...
I suffered a sunstroke
and severe dehydration...
I did have a NDE...
Please learn from this.
Summer is approching
and many are sunbasking.
Use common sense..
Don't stay in the sun
too long...
And PLEASE DRINK
PLENTY OF COLD WATER.
One minute i was
laughing and having fun.
The very next minute
i was desperately
fighting for my life.
Life is so precious...
The very next breath
is not promised to anyone...

God heard your prayer and I'm sure He'll give you more than one day. It is good to learn from the past and make amends for the future, although most of us, amends are from little things.
Trixie I'm so sorry, I knew nothing until now. I'm so thankful you had good help and the angels watching over you. God does provide. I will keep you in prayer, you are a light He didn't want to go out yet...;-)

Oh I didn't know this until now. I'm thankful God has given you the other days and we pray for many more Trixie. Your prayer is wonderful and I can tell you meant it.
Trixie...I am glad that you are now okay and that God has heard your plea for another day...the things we wish to do sometimes ...like expressing our love and appreciation for those close to us and others cannot be put off for another time for we never know how much time we have left, either by accident or illness. Please take care of yourself as I am sure you are placing extra emphasis on that already. God knows that your work here is unfinished and he has blessed us with your presence and your priceless work in our lives.

Extremely well written words. I did not know about what happened to you until just now. I can see that you have taken this experience and turned it into a treasure. Brovo! Good write about how quick things can change and a good example of why we must live our lives to the limit :-)

I relate to this so much...and I too am thankful for your recovery...a wonderful sharing which gives others hope. good message too trixe....Walk through a storm....for there is always a golden light at the end...Bravo
