Thanks for sharing. I too love the outdoors and nature. As I travel I slow to get a glimpse of the family of deer in the far trees. Of course my boss is a deer hunter, he enjoys eating them. blawwwwwwwwwwwww! G

My darling, knowing how relaxed you are sitting under that old oak tree observing nature makes me feel the worthiness of your being there. The refreshing feelings that touch your heart and act as your 'muse' for your beautiful poetry and this poem on nature and your surrounding. It is almost as if I were able to be there with you. I cry tears of joy, and happiness; because in my heart and soul I am touched by your feelings. I can picture you there in such a serene and peaceful atmosphere. Oh my God, how I love you! My time alone is spent in dreaming of you. I am happy you were able to visit this precious site again. Someday darling, I pray I will be with you and we will share so many beautiful sites together. Trixie, this is so beautiful. It reminds me of a poem my grandma taught me. "All Things Bright And Beautiful" I havent said it in a very long time, but I still remember every word

Trixie..
This made me remember a time in my life when I almost died.. I was going in for emergency surgery for a heart attack.. I was twenty years old.
On my into surgery they had to go outside.. to connect with the surgical building.. There in the middle of this area was a small tree.. blooming yellow flowers. I made the nurses stop so I could look at it. I remember thinking what a miracle that tree.. all trees were. I remember thinking this could be the very last time I could see this again .. and wondering how many times I had walked past something as beautiful without stopping or noticing.
I made the nurse pick one of the flowers and put it in my hand.. It was an experience like no other.
This reminded me of that time.
Excellent work my friend.

Surrounded by every imaginable
color - are wild flowers.
Oh the wonderful sweet scent
lingers on through the air...
