The vain regrets of yesterday
Have vanished through God's pardoning grace
The guilty fear has passed away
And joy has come to take its place~Ackley

~~**~~

When I look up to the stars
I see how great you are
When dawn comes to call
I'm held in your enthrall
Throughout the gift of day
I hear all that you say
In this I must confess
I think I'm truly blessed

As day gives way to night
In the beauty of twilight
I watch the sun say goodbye
With such emblazoned grace, I cry
The moonlight takes its place
The stars shine a brilliant face
Humanities misteps disappear
When our true vision becomes clear

I'm back... I knew you wrote some poem that inspired me to pay attention to the beauty unfolding around me (see today's poem) - this is it! I love how you write about nature in such a spiritual way and with vision that pulls me forward into hope. Dawn

Sublimely gracious, rich with an attitude of gratitude. Another beautiful beautitude on the Poetry Board today, Eileen, showing the true nature of blessedness. Knocks all of our other concerns into a cocked hat. Keepin the main thing the main thing, onward and upward. Nature truly is the greatest of therapys and most wise of teachers. And you look well on it, judging by your perky new biog pic! Enjoy greatly. Bless you and thank you, Kate xx
