A very unselfish poem, Eileen. It gives us directive on the preservation of our planet and guides us with instruction on
co-op ecology and environmental awareness. A welcome write that places the kettle of Self on the back burner.

This is just erie. I woke up this morning feeling depressed with sore muscles. I said to myself, "this day is all about me and I don't want it to be! I want to get my mind off of myself." Your poem put things in perspective. I should read this everyday. Fantastic write, Eileen.

Don't really get the picture's correlation, but then, I don't much like photos on poems anyway. Your poem, now, that's another thing altogether. I agree with you about a world without care, and we here in America are blamed for most of the uncaring, when the fact is if all the world cared and did as much for the world as we do, there would be a lot less problems. Yes, we polute, but we also try to clean it up. Not so the hate-filled third-world countries and leftover communists in Russia who polute BIG TIME without the world on their asses. Boggles the mind. Sorry to get into a mini-rant.

Truly it is Love ad Compassion that is in short supply these days Eileen, and it is up to You and I and Others to redress the balance !
This composition is a clarion call to the Faithful, to actually demonstrate their committment to aiding our planet and its dejected inhabitants !
The cyclonic picture indicates the turbulence and volatility in our world !

When we empty ourselves for others in compassionate and loving care. God fills our empty cupboards with His love that He knows we will share. Most edifying poem for all of us to heed and practice.
