O Beautiful World

Even when things go wrong
I can't help but sing your song
I may feel low, but lift my eyes
In thankful praise for sunny skies
That shine upon the glorious flowers
That blossomed due to April showers

O Beautiful World

In Jasmine trees the winds caress
Whispers of sweet scent do bless
As birds and squirrels build nests
With determination and much zest
While mountains climbing to the sky
Give us the joy of dreaming high

O Beautiful World

I'm uplifted by savory sights I see
That keep my tastbuds in ecstasy
All the gifts Creator gives, out of grace
Should keep a smile on our face
So if it rains missiles that bring the end
His greatest beauty waits round the bend

It is a good and wonderful thing that you can see the beauty in spite of the "darker things" of this world, Eileen. I have to work at this. Thank you. Love and peace,

Regis

O beautiful world, indeed. Eileen, I so enjoy your poems that celebrate creation and the Creator, who I believe continues to create in and around us things almost too beautiful for words. Almost... Dawn

Eileen
I believe that beautiful and utopian world only exists in the other side...
Here on this planet, everything is marred and sullied by the malign influence of man...
And that is a gorgeous picture..

The world smiles when you decide to give us one of these very spiritual poems, you can do them like no other, I guess it is the nature-influence that you bring to the poem that makes it so different and good.

Creation truly does heal, Tiger Lily, if we let it; and as you so obviously do.

PS Perhaps you could convince the evil queen of that, and then I might be able to come up out of my deep dark ogre's cave - to enjoy it!

Beautiful poem, Eileen and yes, I do believe that something better awaits us, but it boggles my mind to imagine something more beautiful or wonderful than all that we have been blessed with here.
Take care,
Sherry

Karma Bank to Following By Listening by Chiemi

These song lyrics and art are tales, tides and twinkling lights - tunes telling stories of warmth and sun, city and sand, paths that lead, and the coins we can keep in the Karma Bank. Spirit's been bypassed for sorrow, dreaming of a better tomorrow .
