Poem Artwork

Though you may not always be here
in actual body
where e'er I go I hold you near
forever inside me

You're in my every thought and prayer
and all the in-betweens
within my bosom you do  share
all of my fondest dreams

I'm never sure just how you feel
but it has no effect
on how you make my senses reel
though it be indirect

I see you in the morning mist
and in the soft twilight
or in the evening when star kissed
the moon joins with the night

I feel your eyes look into mine
your voice makes me tingle
soon  we'll be toasting with new wine
together not single

One day when there is no more time
where our new life begins
I know our lives will be in rhyme
when we're in our new skins

I love this and the picture and can identify so much with the yearning in your words... like, I'm ready for those new skins NOW. I have to agree with Andy; there was a certain sadness to this for me. beautiful nonetheless. Dawn

How lucky the man would be to have this poem sent to him. Marvelous in its portrayal of ones love and feelings for another.

What the poem doesn't stir internally, the picture does. A very soft confirmation of love, Eileen...

Beautiful poem, for the spirit within is where our love for another dwells, be they near or far, or even gone from us. This really speaks to my heart. Thank You! Exquisitely done...
