Mankind is materialistic although he has a spiritual component within his being. Unless we obey and pray for the creator we can not expect peace and harmony in this world

only time and evolution can cure man of his evils ... in different ways, these horrible events have occured throughtout history ... there wasn't a mass media to instantaneously report these horrible occurances ... unfortunately, it's part of mankind's inherent nature ... man's collective being will mature some day in the distant future ...

I have to wonder if this type of thing, kids getting killed and such, has been happening all along throughout our history and just because we now have the internet and TV and the media in general, it is coming to light more...oh sorry to ramble on your site, Eileen, this poem made me think of the above, so any written word that makes one think is 100% right on by me...Ed & Ruffie (w00f)

We have no other recourse But to be steadfast in prayer.
Every act of evil reminds us that the end is near, as
evil becomes more prevalent in the earth.
We all need Jesus Christ in our lives.
And right now, we need to pray for the families of these children, as one of the fathers asked in an interview today.

Wow! what a powerful voice is heard within the lines of this poem! I too have often wondered, how much longer can it last? The pain, and suffering that is inflicted upon the little ones especially, after all who is more innocent than a child. I agree that we must stand steadfast together and pray on. Wonderful write today and most powerful indeed.
