Poem Artwork

The universe is humming in my ear
vibrating my body calling me to soar
above the mundane, to converse with
the celestial advocates

Restless rains of rapacity are running
rampent, seeking to distort, disturb,
and damage people of peace and promise

Heeding the alert from the heavenlies
my spirit flies to the upper realms
to commune with friendly stars and saints
for advice on how to repel the attacks

Our conversations reveal ways we can
remain unscarred even while we may
suffer damage, for our power is not in
whether we are damaged in body
rather it is in the One who helps us
remain whole in spirit and soul

We sometimes allow ourselves to forget
where we find our strength and energy
it is from Him we get our peace within
that passes all understanding it cannot
be reached by any outside force unless
we allow it to

It takes steadfast faith and loyalty in our
own ability to rise above all spurious attacks
knowing we have developed by choice, a
strong trusting spirit within, that communes
with Creator to help us keep our souls whole
under all circumstances!

I loved this one so inspiring and yes often we forget whom we get all our strength from.... may we not hesitate and be thankful for guidance especially when this world is so dark.

A great Title Eileen!

And as long as you know its the universe humming in your ear and not a gnat, you will be OK. (-:

Spiritual warfare is going to increase in many walks on this planet, and it is always the wiser choice to fight the battles with the full armour of Christ on and in the strength of the Holy Spirit.

Can't fight too long in the flesh. It just wears out!

Light and Wisdom ...

Karma Bank to Following By Listening by Chiemi

These song lyrics and art are tales, tides and twinkling lights - tunes telling stories of warmth and sun, city and sand, paths that lead, and the coins we can keep in the Karma Bank. Spirit's been bypassed for sorrow, dreaming of a better tomorrow .
