He is what it is all about the Creator, Triune God, His Spirit, Jesus. We can find safety within his embrace in is presence. This poem offered to a belief in his refreshing and hope in this world.
I do not believe he has given up on mankind and neither have all of us. just those that do not believe in him or mankind.
nicely expressed, elieen. just came from my mountain walk, so this gem resonates all the more!

Oh how I can relate to this one, E.T!
Twenty years ago, I threw out my non-working TV, and never bought
another one.
Nature and the Creator's wonders hold me spellbound, in every season, where "multimedia" cannot begin to hold a candle.
I enjoyed this one very much!
Ahhhh!! so now you are talking my kind of talk, Eileen. We seem so willing to allow ourselves to be dragged down into the mire that has been cast around our feet these days, yet, we are the ones who possess the ability to rise above it and revel in all of the beauty that surrounds us. It seems that these days, people are wearing blinders and instead of blinding their eyes to that which instills fear, they are blinding their eyes to those things that will instill hope. Excellent write, Eileen.

and leave the valley of despair behind.
You'll notice that when we're looking into the valley,
