He does make our lives much brighter, wiser, and more wonderful, doesn't He, Eileen? My Grandfather always used to say that any morning he awakened to see his toes wiggle was going to be a good day, because he was alive. The Lord was good to him and is good to all of us, as well.

dont you think 'dazzle' is just the yummyest and most completely underused word...?
i simply adore it!
so i saw this title and there was no way i couldnt read it.

and im so glad i did.

things are so rough right now in my world and while i know that god is good and while i know i have so much to praise him for there are days i just lose sight of all that completely.
right now its 6am sunday morning and i am sitting here because i cannot sleep/breathe with this ghastly cold i have.
im sitting here thinking i should be sleeping because in 3 hours i have a whole mob of kids coming over for waffles for breakfast which has become our sunday morning before church tradition
and then i read this...

he dazzles me
he doesnt have to pull me out of my self created pit and yet he does time and time again.
what i love about this piece is the way it reinforces romans one where it says that creation points to god and so we are without reason for not knowing him
and then even further the idea that if we deny him and dont speak out about him even the rocks will cry out because god is not a secret to be kept.

gah.
a beautiful way to start the day.
thank you.
