I followed the moons path in the water
until it brought me to the place, where
the glory of love was to be found, written upon your face

Under the glow of orbs precious  light
I was entranced by your eyes,when you
spoke  your mellifluous voice, caught me by surprise

You spoke in a poetical whisper,that made my soul shiver with glee,the words you used were eloquent and wise, an  ode to both moon and sea

You spoke of love your passions were strong igniting romantic desires,I knew we'd be together all night long, it would take time to quench our fires

I think of the words and deeds of that night and i'm deeply gratified, the paths of  the moon always remind me,of the times i've been most satisfied
