One dark and stormy Halloween night
The boundary where storms are kept
Gave the heavens a fright
When the portals were opened
To release the makings of a storm
There  was confusion, and all elements
Came through  the doors together
Making a new kind of weather

Everything became chaos
The hail  fought with the snow
And neither knew where to go
Lightning followed the  moon
And the rain came out with the sun
As thunder roared over everyone
Noises of  pitters, patters bumps and bangs
Then out came the wind like a banshee howl
Causing the heavenly hosts to growl

It was an incredible culmination
typhoons Hurricaines,tornadoes,blizzards
All began happening at the same time
Causing the universe to lose its mind
Could the world possibly end like this
All the earth in a quake giving the sky a kiss
Putting the world in such  pitiful plight
One dark and stormy halloween night.

All Hallows Eve - an appropriate ending date for the world, as we know it.

A good frightful story for halloween or around the campfire.

REminds me of that Christmas tune (I didn't get any music yet) but what musical verse. Did you take that pic? You and Karla will have to co-write something soon and we can have the battle of the Storm-Front pictures! Great poem as always.

Eileen, you've capture the storm fantastically with your words, almost made me feel as though I was in the midst of it. The vivid images were described and shown in every line. You've set a scene up for a spooky halloween night...almost makes the hair stand on end. I liked it a lot!

I think it very possibly could. Don't know if it will happen on a Halloween, though. The ancient Mayans believed it will happen in December 2012; and I'm starting to believe them.
