What a beautiful write!!! Thank YOU!!!

Eileen....wonderful write....its so nice to read you yet again after a long hiatus....perfect...love n luck...BHUWAN!!!

God said that David was "A man after my own heart".... does that infer God is capable of impure thoughts? No. Although I often wonder about His anger and "righteous indignation". But what I take it to mean is that God sees the whole picture and knows us even better than we know ourselves; his grace covers our frailty and he knows whence our failings stem. David has long been my Number One superstar from whom I take much heart. Thinking about these things reminds me of words of Aslan in The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, somehow, when the Stone Table was cracked and Aslan was reborn; he said something along the lines of: "The Witch only knows of the Magic that exists from the Dawn of Time, but, should she have been able to look back into the Time Before Time existed, then she would have seen that there is there a deeper Magic still". From such thoughts I take comfort and inspiration. We see in ourselves what we can construe. God sees waaaaaaaaaay further back, into cause, effect and beyond into things of which our judgmental minds know nothing. Scripture is THE most delicious food to get one's teeth into, and I love how you highlight here that God is absolutely no kill-joy, but rather has created all things for us to enjoy in the right ways. He is definitely a God of Much Gladness, and it's a shame us Christians so often give Him so much grief and bad publicity by diluting and diverting His glorious intentions. A right-on write, Eileen. Yes, that was indeed a very good parable, or reality, whatever, it struck home. there are so many of these kind of warning, but we tend to not look for them instead we are hellbent on satisfying our lust, whether it is lust for gold or lust for lust sake . . . Good, Eileen . . .

You have shown throug your verses the power of Gold's love. His grace for our stumbling is longsuffering.

oh yeah, that's erm thingy...Uriah's wife Bathsheba. Not sure if I'd stoop so low, but who knows, my brains aren't in my head oftentimes, and what bloke can resist a stunning babe if he's mashed.
