I wrote this poem years ago for a challenge, someone made, but never posted it. You had to write a 10 line poem any genre,using words that rhyme with light for five lines,and words that rhyme with grace for five lines,finishing with non rhyming words that relate to the theme.

can I compare you to the suns,powerful LIGHT
or to the lesser moon, of the NIGHT
perhaps to the stars,that shine so BRIGHT
you appeared,and was called the greatest LIGHT
your purpose was to give us new SIGHT
all who believe in your saving GRACE
will be rewarded in a heavenly PLACE
our frowns turned into a smiling FACE
with a heart full of love for the human RACE
for we now have the Savior's EMBRACE
" but you are a chosen generation,a royal
priesthood,a holy nation,His own special people
that you may proclaim the praises of Him who
called you out of the darkness into His
marvelous LIGHT " 1 Peter 2:9

The challenges seem to have gone. Along with TC.
Peter,I love his books, he must have felt so much remorse, hence, much of what he says.
Never an easy task to interpret such books, unless Catholic where we have the total truth and in context. ;)
