Too write correct is very wishful
I’ll try Al-Burr-Kurr-Key
To say something in Chinese
Can be awfully painful
You try very hard to please
And your mouth moves every muscle
Too communicate intelligently
Either in shrift or tongue
You don’t have to go to Berkeley
And you can be deaf or dumb
It is not how you spell or how you sound
Listen to the different languages all around
Write what you see and say how you feel
And life will become a wonderful playground
This is how I feel sometimes during phonics lesson with six year olds...ah!!! So many rules....great write my friend, enjoyed this much...cleverly written. Always a pleasure to stop by and read your work!

Aren't words amazing? If we pronounce syllable for syllable then, in most cases, we get it right. Like my name, for instance...de veg ter...should be simple but it gets butchered ,at times. I've found that it all depends on where a person is from as to how they pronounce anything.
