"United we stand,divided we fall".

Wayward words blowing along a deserted street;

A flagpoles hold a nations  red white and blue at half mast,

People walk past at the blood that’s shed  on that cross of bravery.

Men and woman dying on desolate beaches bereft of   suntan lotions golden arches,

A peeling of bells rips through sleeping hills reviving the eyes of the blind;

That road to liberty has been sighted once more.

Freedoms delivery is in labor as  the birth of the bible is tested,

Justice weighed In the balance is blighted :blood or gold In contradiction;

Love has a choice that brings a voice of democracies conviction.

Exceptional Larry, the sound of Taps to me like the sound of the Last Post has always affected me to the point of silent tears for the finality of the close of day and the close of life for anyone serving there country...
