I was watching the sky overhead when the Columbia blew up - saw this long jet trail - perfectly straight - all of a sudden it separated - that's the only explanation I have - went into more than one trail - NO SOUND - my twin sis, a block and a half away, was asleep and was awakened by a boom - didn't know what had happened until a customer came in and told me the horrible news - they warned us to avoid anything falling from the sky - it mostly fell in East Texas - nothing around here (live 12 miles due south of downtown Fort Worth). It was scary though, and these words bring back the fear, the sadness I felt - well done.
