Just think, how many Pockets. we carry with US, and what we stash in those Pockets, while we watch out for those PickPockets.

Pockets

Pockets of fresh air

Pockets in blue jeans

Hot Pockets filled with cheese

Pocket Joey for baby kangaroos

Trousers with only one Pocket

Camping pants with zillion Pockets

Pocket within a Pocket’s Pocket

Just think of all those wallet Pockets

Open, or with zippers, Velcro Pocket fasteners

How many of US have lost keys

Searching within all those Pockets

One then looks, for an hour - elsewhere

Only to come back and find them

In this Pocket that was somehow missed

They say wash Pockets inside out

Others use “Shout” for stain removal

For ink stained Pocket liners

When one, carries a deep blue stained leg

For a while, awaiting a shower

But remember to check the washer bottom

For one may need Pocket change later

When did Western wear adapt Pockets

Pair in front, pair in the back

Key pocket inside a holey Pocket

Where dimes seek to roll down legs

And one gets change, in their soles

Pocket change seems to weigh heavy

Where one needs a belt for Pockets

After all, you do not want to show off

Your family jewel’s natural resources to everyone

Pockets with knives, wallets, keys,

Combs, notes, bill receipts, Trojan’s,

Franklin’s, Washington’s, plastic credit cards.

And let us not forget our IPhone’s

That one then soon realizes

They need another Pocket

And maybe some suspenders

You hit the subject in the corner pocket with this one! Made me remember my "plain pockets" jeans where no advertising was allowed. And the pockets between tooth and gum, catching food I eat on the run.

People used to put dollars and twooneys (two dollars coins in Canada) into their pants pocket and ruined the whole pants completely. They still do. My hubby used to carry coins in his pants pocket, and when the pocket breaks, he lost all those coins.

I also remember when my daughter was a small girl in grade school, she cried and cried for me to buy her an overall pants. I finally gave in to her and bought her the overall. Then she bugged me to buy her a tiny troll doll to put into the front pocket. LOL!!! Apparently, that whole fuss about the overall pants was for putting the doll into the front pocket. Every kid in school had that!
