Crevices Cracked

by David Lester Young — Read all 1,103 poems by David Lester Young

Been frigid frozen, amid blank mind frames, looking for the seeping poetry to bud forth.

Poem Artwork

Crevices Cracked

Cold shivers old,
mid skeletal bones,
screeching howl
Mourning mist moans,
mid yawns fathom -
opera scale
Bellwether fallow,
dost follow,
dearth knelt
knead preys
Frigid,
bares barren landing,
shuttered silence,
stone deaf.

Am eye naught,
fraught twisted,
seeps lone -
wilderness cry
Who,
woo am eye to eye,
echoes ear to ear,
hearing knot echoes
Adrift petrified -
freeze frozen
blank stares,
hibernating rut feelings
Path past due wraith,
advances post haste,
coffin dust
awaits tail.

Ring,
oh ring,
thy heartbeat -
atoned to
repentance reticulations
Veins defibrillation
interconnect,
leaf ending
shock nerve networks
Spring strength,
syrup sap,
reincarnates -
pancake budding rich Poetry
Oh,
to be a Bee pollinating,
lines stacked high,
Bee verse for consumption.
Bon appétit,
profiter de mon désert de poésie crêpes.

You start out in a very sad, mournful tone. Probably initiated by that recent cold wave that came through and got all of us deep in our bones.

But it was good to see you in the end contemplating warming up, especially to some sumptuous treats that you may be warned against by your doctor.

As for the photograph. I hope you don't have something growing in your aging cracks. They will certainly split you apart like rapidly growing cancer cells. But it doesn't relate to clogged veins and arteries caused by lifelong overdose of cholesterol bearing food.

I know that Ben suffered from gout for eating too much meat. Common in those days.

Bonjour, David Lester Young ! You're budding forth alright in a romantic vein after defibrillation of your clogged-up veins: "budding rich Poetry
Oh,
to be a Bee pollinating,
lines stacked high,
Bee verse for consumption.
Bon appétit..."

Good for you thawing free before the advent of Spring and resurrection...

Watch out for that overdose of cholesterol...

Wignesan
