The effervescent glimmer
Of the stars flourescent light
The Orb, in all its glory
The fullness, shining bright
Like a perfect pearl, it radiates
Illuminescent, white

I stand beneath it, naked
To bathe within its glow
Reaching 'cross the miles of which
It lights the night sky, so
Washed beneath its beaming
Caught in the undertow
Captured by its brilliance
Baptized in indigo

And in that moment, waxing
Enveloped, comfort lends
The knowledge of connection
Bridge the distance, it trancends
For 'neath the moon we're standing
Both lovers hearts, and friends
Bathed within the same white orb
Proximity, closer, lends

And so I whisper out your name
Lightly on the breeze
Cocooned within a kiss, it wings
Beyond the rustling trees
Harboured in the moonglow
As it orbs its way to tease
The heart that stands beneath the light
Hands across, forever clasped, we feel at ease
