Success Story
It's been A very long time in the process, but I have finally been able to get some of my works published. In 2013 I was given a piece of information that has catapulted my sense of self, and writing as a career thru the attic. After long years of writing and posting on sites like authorsden, and with a shoebox full of rejection slips from publishing houses, and animation copmpanies,I turned to createspace. I now have 4 books available with worldwide distribution. A Unicorn Tale was the first to be released. A short story that took two years of research to understand theology and history of geography for the setting. I am proudest of this little work. I am currently working on an anthology of poetry series called, The Poetic Patois Of A Post-Menopausal Matriarch. Volumes 1& 2 are currently available, with volume two being a compilation of an exploration into sensuality and sexuality as an over 50 woman...it's love, it's lust and it is for mature readers only! I am excited that they have all met with some enthusiasm and sales are going relatively well. Now that I have accomplished an venue for my work..I can continue my education and pursue my other career. I have recently finished courses as a certified herbologist and have degrees as a natural health consultant and relaxation therapist. If time and money allow I will further the education to include nutritionist and master herbalist. I am working on opening my own clinic out of my home and as soon as the pieces are in place I will have my own practice. So...there it is...a success story still in the making. But isn't that what LIFE is anyway?
