nothing so soothes our unrest
stimulates our thoughts and desires
nothing but love, can kiss away
our tears and initiate our laughter
time is the enemy of love
the thief of lovers’ hours
spent in deep indigo conversation
scarlet pleasure, golden afterglow
may i invite, draw you, to a sancturary
where we shut ourselves in together
where there is exclusively you and me
clothed only in our mutual truth?
a sacred place....

*Let the world stop turning.
Let the sun stop burning.
Let them tell me love's not worth going through.
If it all falls apart,
I will know deep in my heart

this is a beautiful poem La Belle, Love is my favourite non thing , so often the most imperfectly described 'is' in the whole world - and, a failing of mine, but Time can pace until Time has blisters, if Love is in the room - but true it is, that time will stick its ugly nose in - you do such a good job giving words to describe the 'is' of Love, especially romantic love, and that is not an easy thing at all -Beautiful seductive poem, Nicky x
