The wind spoke warily at my tongue,
And sheepishly abode,
It cried to me fear not young one,
The tale is not untold.
And through my pain and sadness,
I cried a happy tear.
And though I cannot see you,
I know that you are here.
Thus did light appear to me,
Calling from within.
Bursting from within me,
To wash away the sin.
I feel no more the pain and sorrow,
Dampening my lungs.
To try this splendid life before me,
Fear not this song unsung.
And so his loathing splendor,
Set aside his awful rage.
And he took me by the arm,
And he told me turn the page.
As long forgotten light,
Settled in my beating heart.
I cry to thee "yee merciful,
In the morrow shall we start!"
I love the rhyme and flow. Your word usage was good also. Sounds like a deep longing or asking for forgiveness. Forget yesterday live for today because tomorrow is the first day for the rest of your life. Your poem does make one think.
Again a great ease of rhyme and flow.
Writing out pain is great therapy, spec when we see we are not on our own. I've been there to often. Keep resilient making sure you and family have a dynamic life..
A great epiphany....
