Two lovers...torn apart...waiting for a cool spring rain...awakening their senses...

There is a crease in my heart

I'm missing you

I listen in the quiet of night

Longing  for a storm

Like a river that needs rain

Caught in a rut

A dry spell

This insanity

Messing with this old heart of mine

Repeating in my head

Over and over

The love and laughter we shared

Only you

Know all of my inimate secrets

In awe

I wonder

Your walking before the sunset alone

Holding memory of me

Closest to your heart

Longing for a full moon

To come along

Aching for

Cool spring rain

To awaken our senses

A poem so good for young lovers to ponder over. Things aren't thesame after breaking up and maybe they should think things over more so than these young brides do these days. I have heard of a wedding one week and a separation the next, or sometimes in 2 years time they tire of each other and want to part. Some things can be avoided by talking to each other and working things out. At least I pray so.
