Like Ships

I don't love your pic, I love your face

I'd like to see it pasted

In more than just one place

I don't even love your laugh,


I love your lips...

Every time I see them,

Off sails my bushy ego

And dances on the waters


blue like ships.

I'd rather have the real face than a pic, too. I'd rather see those ships docked than just passing in the night. Love this one.

your ego inflates because you are the one who gets to kiss those lips perhaps...?
this piece is quite abstract in its imagery and application.
keeps the reader guessing
though that isnt inherently a bad thing.
