The Artist’s Basement
It was a gory sight, yes that it was
The bodies strewn everywhere
Upon the dirty floor. Severed heads
And severed limbs litter the place,
Never have I seen such dastardly
Work before! This is a mosaic of
Death, the best I’ve ever seen. Yet,
In whispered hush I do ask, could
We please leave, to you I implore.
I’d rather not become the next
Victim for this mad artist gone awry,
Even though I’m smitten by
All this serious gore. I do value my
Life, what little I have, but I’d like
To meet this artist with morbid
Curiosity growing deep within
My twisted psyche.
