Set me free, thy have, with words
That enchant and flow like wine!
This weak knee, Twitterpated
Sensation doth carry me through
The day. The heart races, hands
Tremble with glee, leaving me to
The wonders of the soul as I revel
In such delights as that of love.
Trivial moments in time that set
Forth a spring of flowing emotions,
I drink from the fount that babbles
Incoherently through the trees. Bask
In the moonlight as the winds rustle
The leaves above, casting dancing
Shadows on the leaf littered ground below.
Let me float down the brook,
Upon whispered hushes that linger
Since the beginning of time. Speak
Not of the death of love, but of its
Rebirth into what once was a wasteland
Where none could grow! Tears of sorrow
No longer fall, but those of happiness
Seem to flow. Sweet and salty, rolling
Like thunder through the clouds that
Dissipate within the heart.
Tread now, softly, upon this heart,
Lifting spirits and ring in the joy
That now spreads like morning dew.
