Lets go take a walk
around the lake. The
Moon is full and lights
the way. Listen to the
frogs sing in the night.
Crickets join in, a wondrous
evensong chorus.
With the lake benighted, the
scape so serene. To stroll
hand in hand beneath the silvery
Moon. Her light shimmers upon
the water, beautiful moonglow,
as lightning bugs dance like
faeries on the air.
The waterscape beneath the Moon
sets the mood. An enamouring
scene with stars that twinkle
like tiny diamond chips placed
delicately upon the midnight
blanket of the sky.
Lets sit by the water, snuggling.
