"Sand" appears as a closing thought in Fred's second Book, "World Peace Seeds: Planting and Growing Personal Destiny".
SAND
Have you ever wondered about the grains of sand
that slip through your fingers when held in your hand?
And what of the origins of sand, from ancient temples in far off lands,
and distant planets far from thee, or Hawaiian fish deep in the sea?
What do you know of the grains of sand, how time is measured, the size of land,
as hourglass grains flow one by one, or the sacred paintings drawn in the sun?
Enjoyed at sunset barefoot on the beach, the sand is soft, warm to the feet.
Ever studied each little grain, just to discover you do have a brain?
Think of the soil in your own little yard, how sand is the one that keeps it un-hard.
And then in the garden how all life rejoices, as roots push through sand, reaching nutrient choices.
I’ve been looking at the grains of sand, in so colors and from so many lands, and what I’ve discovered may seem odd to thee, that we are the sand, the sand that we see.
How the smallest of particles brushed out of way, are the movers and shakers in the land of the clay.
As you and I sleep upon the sand of the earth, how do you measure its value, its worth? Have you ever wondered about the grains of sand, that slip through your fingers when held in your hand?
