You gave me flowers,
Filled with lilac scents
And colorful showers,
Of yellows, gold and blue
But will you love me in the morning?
Or is this another momentary lover’s interlude?
You brought me candies
Chocolate, caramel, raspberry,
Like your love;
Filled my heart and my body to,
But will you love me in the morning?
Or is this just another momentary lover’s interlude?
You kissed me sweetly while candles flicked
First glowing brightly, but waxing thin
went this lovers wick;
As now my heart beat does constrict,
Will you love me in the morning?
Or is this another momentary lover’s interlude?
